About Us
The Electrical League of Ohio was founded in 1909 and is the oldest electrical trade association in the United States. The Electrical League is a non-profit organization formed to achieve the maximum opportunities for the League, its members and the electrical industry through long-term strategic planning.
The Electrical League of Ohio is proud to provide its members of the electrical industry and their employees with accredited educational opportunities, professional development, information exchange, and member services. The Electrical League currently has chapters in Cleveland, Akron and Canton, Ohio.
Our association serves as the interface between various organizations serving the electrical, lighting, power, low voltage systems and clean energy industries. Our goal of collaborating with peer associations is to foster an interchange of ideas, product knowledge and programs in order to create the best environment possible for conducting business in our industry.
The membership consists of architects, contractors, distributors, educators, engineers, inspectors, manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives and electrical utility companies. The League focuses on being the core instrument in communication throughout the industry. The League promotes unity in order to create the best environment possible for conducting business within the Ohio electrical trade.
